Morning Retreat

There’s something deeply healing about slowing down enough to notice what’s around us. The warmth of the sun, the movement of the trees, the rhythm of the breath, the feeling of being fully present in our bodies again.

This Morning Retreat is an invitation to step away from the busyness of daily life and spend intentional time connecting with yourself and the natural world.

What to Expect

Outdoor Yoga

Begin the morning with grounding outdoor yoga designed to awaken the body, connect with the breath, and invite a deeper sense of presence through mindful movement in nature.

Forest Bathing

Slow down and immerse yourself in the natural world through guided forest bathing invitations that encourage curiosity, sensory awareness, and meaningful connection with your surroundings.

Community Circle

We’ll close our morning gathered in community with refreshing beverages, light snacks, and space to reflect, connect, and simply enjoy the beauty of a slow morning together.

My hope is that you leave feeling grounded, nourished, and more deeply connected to yourself and the life unfolding around you.

Meet Your Guide

Krista Lindgren is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Breathwork Facilitator, Health and Wellness Coach, and Forest Bathing Guide who is passionate about helping people connect with themselves through mindful, embodied practices. In her free time, Krista can usually be found outside: hammock strung between the trees, paddle board on the water, wandering through the woods, or laughing with friends. Even as a child, nature was where she went to process life and feel grounded again. To this day, time outdoors continues to connect her back to herself, and she loves creating experiences that help others feel that same sense of belonging, presence, and ease.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Forest Bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku, is a mindful practice of slowing down and connecting with nature through the senses. Rather than hiking or exercising, forest bathing invites us to move at a slower pace, notice our surroundings with curiosity, and experience the calming and restorative effects of time spent outdoors.

  • Not at all. This retreat is designed to be welcoming and accessible for all experience levels. You are encouraged to move at your own pace and participate in a way that feels supportive for your body and energy level.

  • Please bring a yoga mat or blanket for practice, water, comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable outdoors such as layers, sunscreen, bug spray, or a hat.

  • Light rain or mild weather will not necessarily cancel the retreat, as nature can be especially beautiful in these conditions. In the case of severe or unsafe weather, the retreat will be rescheduled and participants will be notified in advance.

  • Absolutely. Many people attend solo, and these experiences often create a warm and welcoming sense of community. You are invited to come exactly as you are.

  • This retreat is designed to support both body and mind through intentional movement, time in nature, and meaningful rest. Yoga and forest bathing can help reduce stress, calm the nervous system, improve mood, increase mindfulness, and create a greater sense of grounding and connection. Many people leave feeling refreshed, more present, and more deeply connected to themselves, others, and the natural world around them.

If you’ve been craving a slower morning, meaningful time outdoors, or a chance to connect with yourself in a grounded and supportive way, I would love to have you join us.
